PJ
Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, my family and I moved to US when I was 18. I have been a stats geek ever since my teacher gave me a book as a farewell gift called “What is a p-value anyway?”. Graduated from UCLA with a master degree in statistics, I’m currently a data scientist working in Silicon Valley. I’m enthusiastic about data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, big data technologies. My daily job is to solve challenging business problems in a scientific way.
I’m active in many kinds of sports such as basketball, swimming and snowboarding. I also love hiking and traveling. Summer and beach are always my good friends.

Enough about PJ, it’s time to learn about the second “Huang” behind this webpage.
Born in China, grew up in San Francisco, I am passionate about connecting the two worlds I take part in. During my time at UCLA, I dedicated majority of my time and efforts to the Chinese Cultural Dance Club. Working with the Families with Children from China (FCC), I established a dream of someday building a bridge of love and kindness between China and America.
I love to dance, and would immediately become excited when sighting any object that resembles a dolphin. One can easily find a book in my bag for times when I’m alone and bored. I strongly believe that the world looks brighter from behind a smile, and would focus on the happy things in life.
